Kids’ Ministry is all about leading children to know God in a personal way; empowering them to influence others and share their faith in Jesus Christ; challenging them to be disciple and to make disciples; and encouraging them to serve in their community, school and church.

Our “Kids Service” is not about baby sitting, but, it’s all about equipping children to become Champions for Jesus. Our goal is to make difference in the lives of the kids and to help them allow God to mould them to be who God wants them to be and reach their maximum potentials for the glory of God.

WHAT’S IN OUR KIDS’ CHURCH?

Every kid in Cornerstone Church Santiago is excited to attend our Kids’ Service every Sunday and even on weekdays they are waiting for the next Sunday to come and are all excited to be on Kids’ Service again.

We formed groups for ushering, worship team, and a group that are responsible in counting the offerings. Our kids have been given responsibilities such as welcoming other kids, leading praise & worship in the kids' church and counting the tithes and offering (Yes! we are encouraging our kids to give their tithes & offerings) and they are the ones that opens and closes in prayer. The teachers' duty is to give schedules, preach the word, encourage the kids to give their best to God and pray for the kids. After giving such responsibility to our kids they have not taken Sunday services lightly. We have heard parents said that their child does not want to miss out Sunday.

It is such a joy to write what God has done in our church and through our church. Seeing the wondrous work of God in people’s lives that you have never imagined makes a heart sing for his goodness and mercy.
It has been my desire to see my family come to know the Lord; I prayed for a decade that God would send someone else to share the gospel to them. Until September of this year, a tragedy happened; it was very hot evening, my uncle and his wife were sitting outside near the car park (the street is narrow and a lot of motorbike and car are parked in the street). At that same night, my brother and his wife were going out and came into the car. While he manoeuvres the car and his foot reaching the brake, his foot slid to the accelerator. The speeding car hit my aunty (my uncle’s wife) and it brought her against a wall. They brought her to the hospital but died after a few hours because of hemorrhage. My sister phoned me that night asking me to go home because my brother was devastated. I was hesitant to go home because I do not know what to say to my brother. However, the Lord spoke to me and my husband letting us know that he is about to turn this tragedy into blessing where people will come to know Him. My husband and I spent the night praying in the Spirit and prayed even while travelling to Ilagan the next morning. I remember one specific prayer that I ask from God, I said, “God, you know that I do not know what to say to my brother. However, I ask you to fill me with your presence in such a way that my brother and his family will sense it, that even if I do not have many words to say they will know that you are here with me. Indeed God granted my request; my sister-in-law testified that when we arrived they felt such strength and peace that defies description. In that we saw an open door for us to share God’s Word, my husband was able to deliver God’s revelation to their family about “the new beginning”. God did an amazing work in their family, for two Sundays they have to travel 2 hours just to attend the service here in Santiago and in their second time they even brought with them one family to attend in our service. In this situation, we saw the need to start a church in Ilagan. We prayed and plan for a one-week mission to start a church. Cornerstone Church Santiago set a mission the same time as the school holidays for we have brought with us our young people to do the mission.

All we saw in this mission is God’s faithfulness, mercy and grace. We talked to the owner of the place the we are renting now, the time we talked to him we have no money yet but bearing in mind that it is God’s will for us to start a church we step out in faith. We went to mission with no enough funds and having the faith to believe that where God guides He provides. God did not fail us; everyday God used different people to provide our needs. Halleluiah, what a faithful God we have, so faithful and true!

Finally, we started our Sunday service in Ilagan on November 1. And 15 people turned up that day (kids excluded). Now the church is 5 weeks old and it grew up in number, there are 30 people (kids excluded) attending every Friday night and Sunday morning. Moreover, I am amazed by what God has done, my uncle (whose wife died in the incident that I mentioned above) and 9 of his grandchildren are actively coming to church every Friday night and Sunday morning. In addition, my sister-in-law’s relative had started coming in church. I never imagined that I could be able to minister to my own family and relatives.

It has been a difficult season for the church since September until now. We were brought to a place of total dependence to him through this difficult time. The fact that things were not good, we were still able to go forward to what God is telling us to do. Praise God that I could able to report about the things that God has done in this church and through this church.

Here are some of the things that have happened this month:

• November 1, 2009, we are able to launch the church in Ilagan after the one-week mission. In October 26-31, 2009, our church sent out a team to go for a mission in Ilagan. The team was composed of three pastors; Pst. James Aquino, Pst. Marlou Javier and I, and the rest are all young people from our church. In this mission, our young people were able to conquer their fear, were able to share God’s word, and prayed for the old and young alike. Through this short mission a church started. We will be posting the story about Cornerstone Church Ilagan the day after tomorrow.

• November 13, 2009, our first ever worship seminar where majority of the Cornerstone Churches’ worship team attended the seminar. Our speaker, Stephen Chambers talked about the essential things to have an excellent worship team, which I think that what he said is true.

• November 22, 2009, while we were worshiping Pst. Mark received a revelation from God and delivered it to the people. This day is different because we had our altar call during the worship and not after the preaching. In addition, I saw many people responded that day and received a fresh touch from God.

• November 29, 2009, we had a speaker from Bolton who is already a long time friend of Cornerstone- Jillian Saunders. She spoke about not keeping the rubbish things that could not do any good to us. Moreover, she spoke of not holding back or keeping to ourselves the good things God has given us. Good things such as hope must be shared to the hopeless; the love God gave us should be shared to the rejected. After the preaching the altar was open, we felt such love, and compassion was release in the congregation.

God has done numerous blessings in the church despite the difficulties. The Lord taught me to count the blessings and through this, the church was able to rise above difficult seasons. We should always remember that in every season of our life God is always besides us and in us.

But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.

Cornerstone Ilagan: Update

Praise the Lord!!! By the grace and mercy of the Lord, Cornerstone Ilagan is alive and growing.

Many things are happening in our brand new church. Every friday afternoon, Pastor Cristeta and her team are visiting our new members and at night (7pm-9pm) we have a discipleship which is more or less 30 people are attending and excited to received from the Lord.
Saturday morning, I teach our team (especially the pastor and her team) about pastoring, preaching and planning. Saturday afternoon, there is a music practice with our new members especially those who are interested to be involved in this ministry. Sunday morning, there is a sunday service, from 9am-11am.

This coming month, we will start the youth service and we believe that greater things are ahead of us!!!

So pls continue to pray for us!

Many things are happening at our Churches, tomorrow we will see our new place in Salvador (our daughter Church). I asked Pst. Jonathan and Pst. Junior to look for a better place for us in Salvador 'coz in the last few months we used the public school but I really feel that we need to find a place for us. So pls continue to pray for us!!!

On friday afternoon, we will go to Cauayan to visit one of my friend and to pray for her and her business. After Cauayan, we go straight in Ilagan to visit and teach the Word of God. Then Cristeta, Me Anne and Dan-dan will stay at the Church in Ilagan 'coz I need to go back to Santiago for a sunday service.

Last night we conduct the first youth service here in Ilagan at our Church. We have a fantastic night and we felt the Presence of God. Eventhough they are new, you can see in their (youth) faces that they experience the Presence of the Lord. Amazing!

After the youth service we have some snacks and our new youth here invited our youth from Santiago to go to the park...and its really great 'coz there is a bonding and fellowship.

Tonight we will have a night service and I will share about, "ENCOUNTER WITH JESUS." I'm so excited...Halleluiah! But our problem is our main hall is not enough to accomodate the our new members...anyway that is a good problem. If we have enough money we will look for a bigger place. To God be the Glory. Amen!

Praise the Lord many came and they are excited to hear the Word of the Lord, and many came and surrender their lives to Jesus. Halleluiah!

Our plan today, after our group devotion and planning, we will visit those who attend last night and to share the good news of the Lord.

Hello! Greetings from Ilagan.

God is doing great amongs us!
I want to report what is happening now in our mission here in Ilagan. The Lord opening door for us here in Ilagan. Ilagan is ready for greater harvest.

Yesterday they invited me and the mission team to a child dedication and we meet most of our contacts, It is a great night. Joboy is very happy 'coz he begun to connect to the young people. all of us begun to connect to the people and they our very open to us...it's really amazing.
This morning, we woke up at 5am for personal devotion and to hear from God and afterward we have a group devotion and we begun to encourage and challenge each other. After this we divided our team into two. We went to visit the people into their houses, and bussiness. We bless them and pray over them. My team met a three young people and talk them and share our hearts to them...and you what? they said to us, "we will attend at your church and attend to the youth service (on thursday we will have a youth service here in Ilagan)! Wow...it's amazing.

And also we visited a chinese business woman and we begun to pray for her and to her business...she's very greatful. This chinese busines woman said to us that she wants to attend at our Church. and the last that we visited is my godfather, we pray for him and after we pray for him, he gave us money and said that is for the ministry. We are amaze...you know why? coz' we went to this mission that we have no enough money, but God is the great provider. Not only that, the family of my wife begun to giving foods to all of us here.

Many things is happening here...so keep praying!

This afternoon, we will visit again and bless the people and we believe that greater things is ahead of us!

Tonight, we will conduct to services in different houses. Pls pray that many people will will give their lives to Jesus.

I'm so excited to plant a church in Ilagan, Isabela. actually I and my wife thinking to plant more Churches and praying that God will open more doors for us.Not only in Isabela or Region two (2) but beyond this region. Because I believe that it's time to possess what God has promised. I believed that Philippines will be transformed by the power of God! But God is saying to us, 'WHOM SHALL I SEND AND WHO WILL GO FOR US?'Brethren the great comission is not optional it is mandatory, it is a command and we need to obey our COMMANDER IN CHIEF, Jesus Christ!

Praise the Lord... We are back again! May the peace of God be upon you always!

By next week I will bring ten (10)people(most of them are young people and I'm the oldest)in a mission/evangelism in Ilagan, Isabela. This is a six days mission where everyone of us will share the gospel. It is also to plant a Church because after this mission/evangelism we will start the sunday service (Ilagan, Isabela).

Maybe your thinking, where is Ilagan?

Ilagan is a 1st-class municipality in the province of Isabela, Philippines. It is the capital municipality and the largest town of Isabela (both land area and total population). According to the latest census, it has a population of 131,243 people in 24,085 households.

Ilagan, Isabela is politically subdivided into 91 barangays. Ilagan has the most number of barangays in the province of Isabela.Ilagan is the center of education in its neighboring municipalities of Tumauini, Gamu, Roxas, Quirino, Naguilian and Delfin Albano in the Province of Isabela. Ilagan houses the Isabela State University, some colleges and other educational institutions.

Ilagan’s major industry is furniture. Located along National Highway in Barangay Alinguigan 2nd & 3rd, furnitures are made of quality narra woods. These barangays of Alinguigan 2nd and Alinguigan 3rd comprises the so-called Butaka City of Ilagan, wherein the Giant Butaka(It is like a Rocking Chair) of the Philippines was recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records.

In December 2007, God gave me a very clear Word in Ilagan and said, "PREPARE THE WAY OF THE LORD!" That's why I and my wife prayed, waited, and prepared ourselves about this. After much prayer, waiting and preparing, we sensed that this is the right time to plant a Church in Ilagan.That's why we are asking you to pray for us.

Place Of Surrender

Sorry for not posting our blogs in few weeks, many things happened to us especially to me and to my wife.
Did you experience God asking you about something? I mean about surrendering or giving up everything to God even your own dream.
I want to tell you a story what happened to me the day (Nov. 1994) I surrender my life to God until now. That day the Lord asked me to preach His Word, that is very hard for me because I am only a few weeks old Christian but one thing I know like Paul I saw a very clear vision and I responded and followed Him whole heartedly.
I got married in October 16, 1999 a couple of months after my wedding I encountered the Lord in a way that I could not imagine. In the living room of my brother in law, I met the Lord, where His presence is very strong, I was trembling, and afterward I heard the voice of the Lord saying to me, “I called you to be a Pastor.” It is a hard decision again for me because I was newly married; however, we have obeyed the Lord.
In year 2000, the Lord ask me to Pastor in a Church that closed, when I saw the Church building it is like a haunted house and a lot of stone. Nevertheless, I sensed the Lord was saying to me that those stone would be a living stone. Moreover, the Lord is very faithful to us and the Lord restored the Church.
In year 2004, the Lord spoke to us again and said to us that we need to move. It was not easy for us to leave the church because we love the people, for weeks we have bargained with the Lord just to let us stay and eventually the Lord’s will prevailed, we moved out and worked with Pastor Mark and other pastors to start a church in the centre of the city.
In March 2005, the Lord gave me a vision, and said to me that I will be the pastor of Cornerstone Church Santiago and after two years the Lord fulfil His Word.
I tell you the truth; I really love Cornerstone Santiago. We invested our life to the people and we became like a family. However, one day, the Lord spoke to us and saying to us, “are you willing to surrender all to me?” and we said, “Yes Lord.” But, the last question was a very hard to say, “Yes Lord!” the Lord asked us “Are you willing to give up everything even the church that you love so much?” What do you think we felt when the Lord asked that to us? We felt it was like giving your son to be sacrifice. We have owned our people us our sons and daughters even though some of them are older than we are. We have cried and laughed together and together we won battles after battles.
Even though this was hard for us, we obeyed the Lord. We made a resignation letter to Pst. Mark. The day came when our resignation letter need to be given, the Lord intervened. At 7:30am Pst. Mark went to our house and talk to me. I really sensed the Lord was saying to us, “Enough, now I know that you’ll obey me wholeheartedly and you passed the test. From now on, I will bless you, your children, and your children’s children. You will be a blessing to a city and nation.” You know I felt the warm embrace of God.
My question is, are you ready to surrender all to God? Even your own dream? Selah

Hi there, how are you? Sorry for not posting in my blog, 'coz last two weeks we went to Phuket, Thailand for a Transformation conference. It is great conference, I'm blessed in that conference. I hope that someday Santiago City will be transformed by the grace of God.

Then last week, we are flooded and lot of our members are flooded also. So were busy to clean our house, clean the house of some members and giving foods to our neighbors. Ya, that is the right time for the Church to give specially to those who needed us. Also Ptr. Mark gave noodles and we give it to the people.

Actually, yesterday I challenge the members of our Church to give their best and help the people specially those victim of calamity. So we decided to give all our offering and tithes to help the people. It is an act of faith in our part, because the truth is that our church needed money to pay our bills (we are renting the Church building), and for the allowance of our workers. I believe that it is better to give than to receive and give the BEST! Because God will reward us.

Cornerstone Church Santiago is still alive and kicking!

Last few weeks we already started the Summer School of Music and Praise the Lord because we see the great potential of our student in their ministry. Our aim for them is that they will be useful in the Kingdom of God.

Last week we already started the TCM (Teacher's Camp Ministry) and many enrolled. The reason why we started this ministry is to teach our members and become rooted in the Word of God and involved in the ministry. My heart is to see our members Grow by the Grace of God. So our main goal in this Ministry is that our a.)110 commited members will undergo the TCM by the end of July 2009, b.) they will reach their maximum potential c.) they will be an Army not an audience d.) and involved in the Ministry. And our Purpose statement is, “To bring people to Jesus and into the fellowship of God’s family, edify them to become a mature Christian, and equip them for their ministry in the body of Christ and to reach the world for God’s glory.”
That's why we divide our TCM into four, 1.) Membership [ 'To bring people to Jesus and into the fellowship of God's family' ] 2. Maturity [ 'edify them to become a mature Christian' ] 3. Ministry [ 'equip them for their ministry in the body of Christ' ] 4. Mission [ 'to reach the world for God's glory' ]. So pls continue to pray for us.

About our outreach, our outreach is still fine, some of the unchurched that attending in our outreach are attending now in our Sunday Service. Hopefully, next month we will open a new outreach. Praise the Lord for that.

Tomorrow night we will go to Phuket, Thailand for a Conference. I believe that God has a Word for us and someday in His perfect time Santiago City will be Transformed according to His promised to us! Selah

A Generation of Reformer

Hi there! How are you? I hope you will encourage today. Because I want to share what happenned last week, not about our outreaches or Church but about the Dream that I received, I don't know if this is from the Lord.

Sunday morning about 3am, I received a dream, a dream that challenge me and to the workers of our Church. In that dream I saw a man preaching the Gospel with boldness in the streets and I heard in my spirit that his name is JOHN. After that, again I heard a voice said that in the other street is a man named Martin Luther, and suddenly I heard a voice saying, "There is a coming a GENERATION OF REFORMERS!" When I heard that voice I walk up (3am) and I felt very afraid, not because that God will raise up a Generation of Reformers, but because I felt the Holy Presence of God, I felt the so called Holy Fear. Yap, that's true, because the Bible says that God is Awsome!

I really sense that God will raise up a Generation of Reformer that will change the City, Nation, and World.

Praise the Lord! I want to report what is happening to our outreaches. The outreaches is growing, the audience become an Army, and they catch the Vision. Little by little we are saturating the city according to the Word of the Lord that He had given to us.

Last friday we have an overnight prayer meeting and one of the workers received a Word from the Lord, and the Lord said that, "Sinsayon, Santiago city is coming." That's why our next plan is to open an outreach at Sinsayon even in Mabini, Santiago City because I saw in my Vision that we are saturating this Village.

That's why we need your prayers because in my spirit that the enemy is attacking us. So, pls, pls, pls, don't forget us in your prayers.

Were Moving Forward

Last week is a great week for us. The Church is moving forward and the devil is not happy about it. Yap many challenges, problems and even attacking our emotion. But praise the Lord God is Mighty!
Every leader face the giant and we need to overcome our fears and doubt. To be qualified as a giant killer you need to face the giant and kill it. What are the giant that you are facing now? Trust the Lord and put your hope in Him.
Saturating Santiago is not an easy job. However, I need to obey God because this is the mandate that He had given to us. I saw Santiago city saved by the grace of God. In vision, I saw Jesus Christ as King of kings “entering in this city.” Santiago city is our inheritance and this is the reason why we possess this city by the Grace of God.
Two years ago, God gave a Word when we are in Makati city; He said to me “Santiago is the Overseer of Isabela.” Amen! Santiago is destined for greater things.
My friend how about you? Are you still in the focus? Don’t try to compare yourself to somebody. Don’t copy somebody’s vision. Be what you are. God called you for greater thing. Last week I received a word and I believe this is from the Lord, a word “DUPLICATE.” Because many Christian today they want to duplicate somebody’s vision and ministry. I tell you God will not bless you if you do that. Go back to your calling. Focus your eyes on Jesus and re-kindle the fire of God within you. Selah (Stop and think about it!)

Last saturday Night we Launch our new outreach at Rosario with Patul Santiago City and God is amazing and I saw the great potential in this village. Ptr. Nelly is the Pastor in this outreach and hopefully next few months we will start our youth group at Greenland, Patul, Santiago City.

Last month I really sense that God is opening door for us to open a new outreach at Rizal, Santiago City. Rizal is the biggest Barangay/Village in our City. i ask the favor of the Lord be upon us. because the truth is we have only two member in this Barangay and they our new in our Church. But God is faithful and He make a way.

I met a woman in the Hospital and we prayed for her and God heal her that day. So she text me and she said "thank you Pastor because you prayed for me and I went home that day because I'm healed." So I grab the opportunity and text her, What her name and address so that we can visit her. She said to me that she's from Rizal, Santiago City. So I sensed that this is an open door for us. I ask Sis. Perla (our new member from Rizal) to visit this woman. Praise the Lord, the woman requested to have a Bible Study in their house and she said that she will invite her neighboor. Wow... God is Amazing! So on Saturday, Sis Perla will share the Gospel in this Village.

"I Will Reach My Goal"

Praise the Lord! How are you? Hope your fine. I want to tell you something, If God gave you a Word or a Vision, trust Him because He will fulfill it in His right time. That is what happenning to us, especially in ourChurch.
December 2008 God gave me a Word about the SATURATION OF SANTIAGO CITY. Little by little I saw God is moving in our midst and even the member of our Church catch the Vision, that's why I saw their support. God is raising more leaders in our Church to turn Santiago upside down.
Last February 15 in our Church service, we have a GOOD problem. Many people are attending the Church and we have no enough place and no enough chair so that the people can seat. So we decided to separate are people from Salvador to conduct their own service (Church Service), and they are happy for that. So yesterday, we launched our new daughter Church at Salvador and Bro Jonathan told me that many people came in their service. The good thing is even the Aunties from the Childrens Home help Bro Jonathan. Did you believe that? The Aunties from Childrens home are the Choir and teached the children. All I can say is, God is Amazing!
This coming Saturday, we will launch our new Outreach at Patul. I really sensed that in this village, God will produce many leaders. So, I shared this to our members especially at Patul and and I felt in my spirit that they catched the fire. Next week I will show you the picture of this village, especially the launching.
Yesterday afternoon (4pm), I went to Divisoria to visit our five weeks old outreach and it's really amazing, more than 30 young people and adults attended in this outreach. Hopefully by next month we will open again a outreach in this village because this is a big village and I saw the potential of this village to reach the UNCHURCHED.
My friend Jesus said in Luke 13:32 "I will reach my goal." And that is my heart to reach our goal. God gave us the mandate to saturate Santiago and we need to obey God. We want to reach the unchurched and that is what we are doing right now. Actually in Salvador alone about 90percent attending in this outreach are unchurched and praise the Lord they received Jesus Christ as their Lord and their Saviour. Even in Divisoria, about 85percent attending in this outreach are unchurched. I don't like a TRANSFERRING GROWTH, the Heaven is not happy for that. But the Bible said that if one soul receive Jesus as Lord and Saviour the Heaven REJOICE! Selah

Wow God is amazing! you know why? Last week I saw the move of God in our Church I mean in the Cornerstone Church Santiago. Did you remember what I shared before that God gave us a mandate to SATURATE SANTIAGO?

Anyway I want to tell to you what happen last week.

Thursday (Feb. 05), I and Jimmar went to Kapayakan/Salvador, Santiago City and see what happen to our new outreach. It's amazing, because I saw many Adults, Young people, and children praising and worshipping the Lord. And the good news is they are open to the Gospel. As I share the Word, I saw that they are hungry in the Word of God and they received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. So pls pray for Bro. Jonathan Batay-an because he is the outreach pastor in this Village.

Friday (Feb. 06), I went to our new daughter Church at Sinili, Santiago City because the Bible School Student conduct a Crusade and Praise the Lord about 100 young people and adults attended the Crusade and they gave their life to Jesus. Amen! Pls pray for Ptr. Jun because he is the Pastor in this place.

Saturday (feb. 07), we launched our new outreach at Batal, Santiago City. I saw the great potential in this Village and God gave me a very clear vision in this village. I saw in my vision that every family in this village are saved by the blood of the Lamb. So pls pray for Jimmar because he is the Pastor in this outreach.

Sunday (feb. 08), our new outreach at Divisoria, Santiago City is really growing. This outreach is only three weeks old and 25 young people and adults are attending in this outreach. Sis. Mildred and her mom is doing great in this place. So pls pray for Mildred 'coz she is the Pastor in this outreach.

Sunday Service, it's full pack. I mean many people attended the service and our main hall is very small for us. This is a good problem. Amen!

Next week, I will meet our member from Patul, Santiago City to start our outreach in their place. Halleluiah! I believe Santiago City will be save.

Vision

Hi there! How are you?

These year is a great year for us! It does not mean that there is no problem in the ministry or all things are well, but this year is full of challenge. One day God gave me a word a Word that every Christian need to be rise up. It's time for us to wake up, because this year is the year of battle and the army of God need to fight and not to seat or afraid. In my spirit I saw Joshua fighting against the enemy and I really sense that we need to fight against the enemy. It's time to pull down every strongholds of the enemy. My friend, remember this that, "not by might nor by power but by the Spirit of God." We are an army and not an Audience. Jesus Christ is the Captain of Host and He lead us into Victory. Halleluiah!!!

One night (last week) God gave me a dream, in that dream I saw many sheep (Flock) in many places with their Shepeherd and I lead them into a greener pasture. Selah

Baptismal Service (After Cornerstone United)

Theater For Christ

Praise the Lord, God is doing great at Cornerstone Churches. The Vision that God has given to Ptr. Mark is coming to pass. I'm happy for that. Thank you (UK) for sending Ptr. Mark here in the Philippines and thank you to Ptr. Mark and Ate Mary because you obey the Lord and now we see the fruit of your labor and the VINEYARD is coming.

Last saturday we launch the "THEATRE FOR CHRIST" and many people attended and many young people are involved in these ministry. Thank you Sis. Jane Mangadap for giving your best to train the young people and to see their potential. May the Lord Bless you always.

Yesterday is our Cornerstone United and praise the Lord a lot of people attended the service. After the Cornerstone United we baptized many new believers from Cornerstone Santiago, Cornerstone Naguillan, Cornerstone Cauayan and Cornerstone Nagassican , is that great? It's great to see the new believers decide to be baptized and follow the Lord with all their heart.

And in the afternoon I and my wife attended our NEW OUTREACH at Divisoria. I saw in their faces I felt in my heart that these people are open for the gospel and they said to me that they will attend to our Church this coming Sunday. Halleluiah! God is amazing!

These coming thursday I will share to our NEW OUTREACH at Salvador and I'm so excited. I want to see our new Daughter Church and share my hearts to them.

On Saturday morning, we will launch our NEW OUTREACH at Saint James and I really sense that God is moving in this City. Before this is only a DREAM but now it's a REALITY!

Five (5) lessons to make you think about the way we treat people.

1 - First Important Lesson - Cleaning Lady.

During my second month of college, our professorgave us a pop quiz. I was a conscientious student and had breezed through the questions until I read the last one:
'What is the first name of the woman who cleans the school?'
Surely this was some kind of joke. I had seen thecleaning woman several times.. She was tall, dark-haired and in her 50's, but how would I know her name?
I handed in my paper, leaving the last questionblank. Just before class ended, one student asked ifthe last question would count toward our quiz grade.
'Absolutely,' said the professor.. 'In your careers you will meet many people. All are significant. Theydeserve your attention and care, even if all you do is smile and say 'hello.'
I've never forgotten that lesson. I also learned her name was Dorothy.

2. - Second Important Lesson - Pickup in the Rain

One night, at 11:3 0 p.m., an older African Americanwoman was standing on the side of an Alabama highway trying to endure a lashing rainstorm. Her car hadbroken down and she desperately needed a ride.Soaking wet, she decided to flag down the next car. A young white man stopped to help her, generallyunheard of in those conflict-filled 60s.. The man took her to safety, helped her get assistance and put her into a taxicab.
She seemed to be in a big hurry, but wrote down his address and thanked him. Seven days went by and a knock came on the man's door. To his surprise, a giant console colour TV was delivered to his home. A special note was attached..
It read:'Thank you so much for assisting me on the highway the other night. The rain drenched not only my clothes, but also my spirits. Then you came along. Because of you, I was able to make it to my dying husband's bedside just before he passed away... God bless you for helping me and unselfishly serving others.'

3 - Third Important Lesson - Always remember those who serve.

In the days when an ice cream sundae cost much less,a 10-year-old boy entered a hotel coffee shop and sat at a table. A waitress put a glass of water in front of him.
'How much is an ice cream sundae?' he asked.
'Fifty cents,' replied the waitress.
The little boy pulled is hand out of his pocket and studied the coins in it.
'Well, how much is a plain dish of ice cream?' he inquired.
By now more people were waiting for a table and the waitress was growing impatient.
'Thirty-five cents,' she brusquely replied.
The little boy again counted his coins.
'I'll have the plain ice cream,' he said.
The waitress brought the ice cream, put the bill on the table and walked away. The boy finished the ice cream, paid the cashier and left. When the waitress came back, she began to cry as she wiped down the table. There, placed neatly beside the empty dish, were two nickels and five pennies..
You see, he couldn't have the sundae, because he had to have enough left to leave her a tip.

4 - Fourth Important Lesson. - The obstacle in Our Path.

In ancient times, a King had a boulder placed on a roadway. Then he hid himself and watched to see if anyone would remove the huge rock. Some of the king's wealthiest merchants and courtiers came by and simply walked around it. Many loudly blamed the King for not keeping the roads clear, but none did anything about getting the stone out of the way.
Then a peasant came along carrying a load of vegetables. Upon approaching the boulder, the peasant laid down his burden and tried to move the stone to the side of the road. After much pushing and straining, he finally succeeded. After the peasant picked up his load of vegetables, he noticed a purse lying in the road where the boulder had been. The purse contained many gold coins and a note from the King indicating that the gold was for the person who removed the boulder from the roadway. The peasant learned what many of us never understand!
Every obstacle presents an opportunity to improve our condition.

5 - Fifth Important Lesson - Giving When it Counts...

Many years ago, when I worked as a volunteer at ahospital, I got to know a little girl named Liz who was suffering from a rare & serious disease. Her only chance of recovery appeared to be a blood transfusion from her 5-year old brother, who had miraculously survived the same disease and had developed the antibodies needed to combat the illness. The doctor explained the situation to her little brother, and asked the little boy if he would be willing to give his blood to his sister.
I saw him hesitate for only a moment before taking a deep breath and saying, 'Yes I'll do it if it will save her.' As the transfusion progressed, he lay in bed next to his sister and smiled, as we all did, seeing the colour returning to her cheek. Then his face grew pale and his smile faded.
He looked up at the doctor and asked with a trembling voice, 'Will I start to die right away?'.

Being young, the little boy had misunderstood the doctor; he thought he was going to have to give his sister ALL of his blood in order to save her but he had chosen to save her anyway.

'Work like you don't need the money, love like you've never been hurt, and dance like you do when nobody's watching.'

Possesing our City

It has been a long time since I post my last blog for 2008. At last I have found a time to write my blog despite the fact that I am busy with the renovation of our new house. Praise the Lord for that because God gave us a new house eventhough we have not yet electricity for two weeks! ohh my....

Anyway, God is doing great in our church. We plan and starting now to saturate this City. We have already started our outreach at Salvador and about 37 people are attending now from this Village. This february hopefully, we will start our outreach at Patul, Batal and Divisoria, so pls continue to pray for us.

You know my friend, every saturday night I meet the Core group of our Church and I saw God is moving in our mids. These two saturday, we really experience the manifestation presence of God and He spoke to us and said to us that "He will saturate first the workers then saturate this city."

My prayer right now for you is that God will saturate you, so that you can saturate your city, your promised land! Halleluiah!!! Have a Blessed day!

The heart of Christmas

Christmas is fast approaching; it’s only a few days to count and its Christmas. Many people are so excited for Christmas to come, the excitement maybe due to the present they are expecting to receive this season. Kids are excited because of the new toys, clothes and lots of food. For many people, to have a happy Christmas is to have many material things. I remember watching an interview; the man was asking people if they have a happy Christmas. Majority of the answer were “no” and the reason were, they do not have much money to buy what they want. The world has this kind of mindset and unknowingly Christian has this wrong notion of Christmas. I am not saying that these things; having new clothes, toys or receiving things this season is evil, however, many people have missed the true meaning of Christmas. We forgot the heart of Christmas, the very reason why we are celebrating Christmas. We forgot Christ the centre of this season. We have this celebration because of the demonstration of God’s eternal love for man; Christ was born. And the angel declared that He will be called ‘’Emmanuel” meaning God is with us. Christmas is remembering that Christ had restored our relationship with God, that we can enjoy a close relationship with the Father. I encourage you today, even though you only have a few things this Christmas, celebrate this occasion with a thankful heart for what the Lord has done to you and I believe with all my of heart that you will have a different view in life. Moreover, to you who have many things, be thankful to God for what you have but do not forget that the true essence of a happy Christmas is embracing what God has done for your life. Happy Christmas!

Three Ministers

Hello! Praise the Lord I'm here again, still fine and doing fine.
Last week our friends from Singapore are here, i think 14 of them. They help us in every ministry, specially in feeding program, youth group, Hospital ministry and Campus ministry. They are a great blessings to us and I really appreacite their ministry.
This week our friends from UK are coming, David Strachan and family. They are a lovely family, on fire for the Lord and I really appreciate their ministry. Their love and compassion for the people are great. So , I'm so excited to see them again. Praise the Lord!
Anyway this morning I received an AoG Magazine from Ptr. Mark. And I read an Article that really shocked the Christian world. I want you to read these, not to Criticize this people but to pray for them that God will restore them.

"Three high profile ministers have shocked the Christian World by stepping down from public ministry after admitting to sin.

Mike Gugliemucci, Todd Bently and Terry MacAlmon are all receiving councelling after recent revelations about sin in their private lives. The most startling is that Gugliemucci, who lied about a two-year battle with cancer. The preacher reportedly deceived his family about the illness, which he faked whill thousands of Christians around the world prayed for his healing. He appeared on a recent Hillsong DVD performing his hit song 'HEALER' with an oxygen tube taped to his nose, and preached at British youth conference Audicious in 2007, claiming he received partial healing at a Wesleyan chapel in Bristol. In a statement, he admitted a 16 year pornography addiction, adding, Í'm sorry for a life of saying I'm something I'm not.'

Elsewhere, the controversial Lakeland healing outpouring is in decline after news that leader Todd Bentley had an únhealthy relationship' with a female member of his staff. Newspapers claim that Bentley, now separated from wife Shonnah, also drank excessive amounts of alcohol. Fresh fire Ministries is now being run by Bentley's associates.

Meanwhile, worship leader Terry Macalmon has resigned from his ministry after admitting to an extra-marital affair. In a letter, he said, 'Please forgive me. I never meant to heart anyone, but when we take our eyes off the Lord, the enemy knows where to attak us.'' (Joy Magazine, Oct. 2008, p 23).

Friends, God is the God of Restoration! Don't judge this people, the Bible says, "Don't pick on people, jump on their failures, criticize their faults- unless, of course, you want the same treatment. Don't condemn those who are down; that hardness can boomerang. Be easy on people; you'll find life a lot easier." (Luke 6:37, Message). Selah

Prophet Cindy Jacob

Hi there, I know that you have waited for the continuation of my last blog. I have been so busy for the past week. Visitors ( I mean, friends…)from England came to visit us to see the work here in Santiago. After they left, three days later we have 71 visitors from Abra and Vigan who came to attend the Tri- District Conference. They stayed in the church for three days, I and the workers of the church really worked hard to make the visitors comfortable. It was so tiring but, we were so happy to serve others and knowing that serving others bring delight to God’s heart. I thank the Lord for giving me and my team the joy in serving.

Anyway I want to share the Prophecy of Cindy Jacob from the Philippines especially for Mindanao. Are you ready? Upon reading this prophecy, I pray that you will be challenged!

“Even in Mindanao, you know, I’ve prophesied about Mindanao, and I want to say to you again Mindanao, arise, you are the blue flamed warriors that I talked about, warriors of fire, warriors that God is going to bring with HOLINESS, and it’s gonna happen. I just see literally THOUSANDS OF MISSIONARIES going out of Mindanao, thousands, thousands, I mean to Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, and Bangladesh, even to India, Central Asia- Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan. The Lord says, I’m a just God,’ those places where darkness has tried to grip, where it seems there’s been so much desolation, so much poverty, so much sorrows. The Lord says, “I, the Lion of Judah, am going to rise in those darkest places, and bring justice, and the people who were set in the darkness will see great light. But not only see a great light, but the LIGHT-BEARERS TO THE END OF THE EARTH,”SAYS THE LORD.

(In view of fighting going on in Mindanao right now) I did now know there was fighting going on in Mindanao right now. I want to say, “Where sin abounds, grace much more abounds.” You might say like Jeremiah thought in the book of Lamentation, “God you’ve abandoned us, where are You?” but the Lord says, “do not lose hope and do not lose heart, because the Lord says ‘Mindanao will be transformed.’’ Satan is making s great last stand. Satan has come down with great wrath because he knows his time is short in Mindanao. So rise up, even though you know, it’s terrible, and everywhere you look around is devastation, “out of this darkness is going to come a TRANSFORMATION MOVEMENT that will be shown and modelled around the world” says the Lord.

You know, the Lord shows me, over the Philippines there is a principality of CORRUPTION, and this corruption has been so systematic, and so deep, and this principality thinks it controls the Philippines. But the Lord is showing me that there will be a NATIONAL FAST, praying-everyone, the north, the south, the east and the west, the whole church, not part of the church, STANDING UP and FASTING and PRAYING. There will should not be a day that there isn’t fasting going on for the Philippines.

And am calling you, wherever you are, whoever is hearing my voice, whatever pastor is hearing my voice, whatever youth movement, the Lord is saying, ‘LOVE YOUR NATION.’ This is a strategic nation. Fast for the coming elections coming up, cry out to God, that in the next election God is gonna move in a massive way, the spirit of corruption will be broken.
Listen, what the last time I was in the Philippines, I prophesied that the fear of the Lord is going to come to the Philippines, and those who tried to participate in corruption I feared for their life. After that, two of them died. God isn’t just saying these things. He means them. You get your life right, and you have the fear of the Lord in your life. If you tried to corrupt, corrupt God’s nation, it’s gonna be Acts 5, days of Ananias and Sapphira.

God is getting ready to march and move through the land. He’s gonna pull down one and He’s gonna set up the other. No longer will his words delayed over the Philippines. If you stand and pray you believe, God the Lion of Judah, is going to arise and shake His mane over the nation, and He’s going to roar out of Zion, and the darkness will be dispelled, says the Lord. Wow!”

Maybe you heard already the “Prophecy about the Philippines” and the Body of Christ here in the Philippines are very excited about it. But I believe that we are in the crossroad. Last Monday night my wife had a terrible dream about the Philippines. In that dream she saw “darkness” in our Nation and she felt that darkness is very different compared to other darkness. She felt in her heart that the darkness she saw is full of wickedness and my wife said in that dream, “we need to pray”. My wife told me that in that dream, she prayed a very different prayer. A prayer, she had not prayed before. A passionate prayer for this nation!
I want to share to you what I read in a booklet written by a Prophetess from U.S.A. she wrote this;
“You know I love you Philippines. I want you to pray, the next two years, the Lord is showing me, are going to be extremely significant for the Philippines. You’re kind of on cusp of re-civilization, I want to say that, either your gonna go into greatness, it’s going to transform the Nation, or I see that there’s gonna be some trouble times. So PRAY, PRAY, PRAY! I already know you’re already praying, but this is the time God is gonna pull down the spirit of corruption, and God is going to release the Spirit of truth and righteousness into this nation, because ‘Righteousness exalts a nation.’
The Lord is giving MANY PROMISES for the Philippines. I mean the Philippines is going to be one of the WELTHIEST NATION on the earth. You know I prophesied that there will be oil found off the coast of the Philippines, and there’s much more to be found, there’s gold, the treasures of darkness are there, and has not been found, they were saved for the Body of Christ. What does God meant to do? The SPIRIT OF POVERTY will be broken. I want to say to you, mothers will be able to feed their children, there is going to be a system put in place.”

Obedience and Faithfulness

Praise the Lord! I'm here again, still alive and kicking. Doing fine and excited because I believe that 2009 is the year of saturation. Yes, 2008 is great, lot of challenges and changes but 2009 is more better. God gave me a Vision and Word for 2009, that's the reason why I said while ago that 2009 is better than 2008. How about you, do you have a vision for your life, to your family and to your ministry? Without a (Clear) Vision the people perish. That's why you need to seek the Lord and seek His face, draw near to Him and He will draw near to you. My friend maybe you have many failures and disappointment and you want to surrender and give up and you think there is no success. I want to tell you what happen to me. When I begun my ministry, I have one thing in my mind, "SUCCESS," I want to be a successful person. I don't want to be a failure. In every area of my life, in relationship, in ministry, in church in finances..... I want success. But as the days goes by, I observed that I have many failures, and success is very hard to attain and I became discouraged.
Failing brought discouragement and disappointment to us. And we thought that success is for a few people only. But the Question is, 'What is real Success?' The world thinks that to be successfull is to have, a lot of money or being financially secured, to have a big business, degree in University and even finished doctorate, to have a big and nice house and admired by people. Those things arethe standard of this world, and I'm not against it, because those things are good. But is that the real meaning of success?
If success is all about money, big ministries, having mansions, trendsetters, opinion makers, power and position, What do you think of Jeremiah the Prophet? He had no mansions, no mega-Church, no fallower, no position in the Government. For 40 years he served as God's spokesman, but when he spoke "NOBODY LISTENS." Jeremiah did not attain material success, he was thrown into prison and cistern (Jeremiah 38:6), he was rejected by his neighbors (Jer. 11:19-21), his family (Jer 12:6), false prophet (Jer 20:1,2), Friends (Jer 20:10), his audience (Jer 26:8), and the king (Jer 36:23). In the eyes of the world Jeremiah was a failure, but in the eyes of God, Jeremiah was one of the most successful people in history. Why? Because success, as measured by God, involves obedience and faithfulness. Selah

Hi there! How are you? Cornerstone Church Santiago is still fine and doing great for the glory of the Lord. I'm so busy in the last few weeks, 'coz I need to meet the CORE group and visit them not only that, we need to plan, evaluate and review what happened in the last 10 months, so we decided to set a date to talk about this.

Last sunday, I received a Word from the Lord and it's really challenged me, and this is the Word that I received, "SATURATE SANTIAGO." I Believed that Santiago will be saved, and we will turn this City upside down. Like the prayer of John Knox, "Give me Scotland or I die" and my prayer is "Lord give me Santiago for your Glory." That's the reason why we are preparing the Church for the coming revival, and we decided to have a day of PRAYER AND FASTING and OVERNIGHT PRAYER MEETING. We want to seek God and hear from Him. Friends, we need the REVALATION for REVOLUTION! It's time to wake up and saturate the city. You are an ARMY not an AUDIENCE! Used your SWORD and possess the Land, Your PROMISED LAND!!!

Oh God touch every heart right now and ignite that fire once again! As you read this prayer begin to pray, I tell you I really feel the Anointing of God and His fire is burning me, oh what a glorrrrry.... Receive the Fire of God! Halleluiah.... Wow I cannot explain what is happenning within me, it is the Spirit of God filling me.... Receive that Anointing....oh it is Glorioussss....Be filled with the Holy Spirit...right now... My friend, just pray right now it is the Spirit of the Lord who touch you right now.... pray in the Spirit, pray in the will of God! If you are sick, believed that God will heal you and receive your healing. Also, I rebuke that lukewarm spirit in Jesus mighty name. Be filled with the Love of the Lord. SCOTLAND

Aberdeen, Scotland Airport

Praise the Lord we are here in a beautiful place of Scotland! We just arrived last Friday and wow its really amazing, Scotland is a Beautiful place with lovely Scottish people, that's true and I'm not kidding. I'm very happy to meet our friends here in Scotland. The people here are generous, kind, lovely, caring, giver and I love their smile, they are excellent. Even though we are a Filipino they (Scottish) received/accept us as their brother in Christ. So I want to thanks all the brethren here in Scotland. I pray that God will continue to bless you.
One night God gave me a very clear vision (November 2005), in that vision God showed me to send me to Scotland, and I said to the Lord, "Lord let your will be done!" but in m heart I don't want to go not because I don't like Scotland, it's because I'm not good in speaking English and its very hard for me to preach in English. That's true! But one day God spoke to my heart and said to me, "My son, this is the beginning of fulfillment of every promises that I gave to you!" Yes, God is faithful and I'm here now in the Beautiful place of Scotland. Friends, maybe God gave you a vision and dreams but as the days goes by just like nothing to happen it seems like your dream is dead and now you are very discouraged and disappointed but I want to tell you that every promises of God is yes and amen and I pray that God will resurrect that dreams.
Also, pray for us (Marlou, Winston,James, August, and Mark) because there is a "STOMACH PROGRESS" here, I mean there is a lot of food here, oh my the people here loves to serve us and the food is very delicious, the brethren here prepared a lots of food and we ate a lots of food, hahaha..... I think I'm very big now...

I really missed my family (my wife and my 3 beautiful kids), please pray for my son Marc David (20 months old) for his healing. This week (Monday)my wife went to clinic to check up our son and the Doctor said that my son need for an operation 'coz there is a problem in his testicles but I believe that God is able to heal our son. I'm not asking for money, all I need is your prayers and that is enough for us. I know that this is the attack of the enemy to my family and to me and the enemy wants to discouraged me and my wife but God will never,never, never leave us nor forsake us! Amen and God bless you!

I Hear the Sound of Revival

Last year God gave me a clear vision, a vision about the coming Revival here in Santiago. This is the cry of my heart, "GENUINE REVIVAL," a Revival that will change the lives of every people here in Santiago, a Revival that will TRANSFORM this city, like in the days of Evan Roberts there is strong conviction of sin. Like in the days of Martin Luther, he stood up and tell the truth, he is the VOICE not an ECHO and through this, he turn the world upside down. Like in the days of John Wesley, he changed the world! How about us! Can we change the world? Can we make difference? what is the cry of your heart? My prayer is this, "Lord, here am I, send me!" Are you willing to pay the price? Are you willing to Pray the price? This is the heartbeat of God, "SOUL." What is the heartbeat of your heart? Oh, let the Heartbeat of our heavenly Father, be the Heartbeat of YOUR heart.
Last sunday morning, Ptr. Mark talked about LOVE. The true meaning of love and I want you to read it,

And now I will show you THE BEST WAY OF ALL. I may speak in differnt languages of people or angels. But if I do not have love, I am only a NOISY BELL or a CRASHING SYMBAL. I may understand all the secret thing of God and have ALL KNOWLEDGE, and I may have FAITH so great I can move mountains. But even all these things, IF i DO NOT HAVE LOVE, THEN I AM NOTHING. I may give away everything I have, and I may even give MY BODY AS AN OFFERING to be burned. But I Gained nothing IF I DO NOT HAVE LOVE.
Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous, it does not brag, and it is not proud. Love is not rude, is not selfish, and does not get upset with others. Love does not count up wrongs that have been done. Love takes no pleasure in evil but rejoices over the truth. Love patiently accepts all things. It always trusts, always hopes, and always endures.
Love never ends. There are gifts of prophecy, but they will ended. There are gifts of speaking in differnt languages, but those gifts will stop. There is the gift of knowledge, but it will come to an end. The reason is that our knowledge and our ability to prophesy are not perfect. But when perfection comes, the things that are not perfect will end. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I stopped those chidish ways. It is the same with us. Now we see a dim reflection, as if we were looking into a mirror, but then we shall see clearly. Now I know only a part, but then I will know fully, as God has known me.
So these three things continue forever: faith, hope, and love. and the greatest of these is LOVE. (1 Cor. 12:31ff-13:1-13)

Yes, I believe that revival is coming- but the main thing is "DON'T LOOSE YOUR FIRST LOVE!"
Sunday Evening Service is a great service, the worship is amazing I felt the touched of God. And the most amazing is that God really touched our hearts in a way that we cannot imagined. Wow, fresh touched from God is more than enough for us!
Next week, we will go to UK and I'm very excited! Praise the Lord!!!

This morning I and Pastor Mark Ritchie taught about the Church History and its really challenging. This is one of my favorite subject and I really enjoyed it. As I interpret Ptr. Mark I really felt the Fire of God within me. The Anointing of the Lord is very strong within me even in the life of every student. So, at the end of the subject I closed in prayer but the Spirit of the Lord fell down in our midst. It's really amazing, many are slain in the spirit, crying, there is a conviction of sin and I really felt the Spiritual hunger within us.

Many years ago we are praying for Revival, teach about revival, preached about revival and we shared about revival, but the problem is we have no enough hunger for God. We need to have a Spiritual hunger for God, we need to focus our eyes on Him and draw near to Him 'coz He will draw near to us. This morning God gave me a vision, a vision that really amazed me. In my spirit, I saw God sitting on His Throne and as I draw near to His throne, He stood up and He walk and draw near to me, I felt the embraced and loved of God in that moment, And I said to Him (God), "Lord, I want more of You!" I tell you the truth even now I really felt the Spiritual hunger for Him, I want more of God.

How about you? Are you hungry? You want more of God? Then you need to Draw near to Him!

The Church is Pregnant

Year 2008 is really a preparation for us as a Church specially here at Cornerstone Church Santiago. Many difficulties, challenges, problems, and excitement and I know this is a very common to every Churches. There is no perfect Church! Right? So nothing to worry, God is with us and He will never leave us nor forsake us! We are not the one to build the Church all we can do is to extend His Kingdom. And this is my prayer that God will extend our teritory, and we want to reach more people and bring them to Christ.

August 22-23 is a big day for all Cornerstone Leaders, 'coz we conduct the Leader's Summit. It's all about the "Vineyard." Pastor Mark shared to us about the prophecy that God has Given to him, "THE VINEYARD." So we pray, prepare, and plan. After this more preparation, prayer and planning we decided to plant FIVE Church within five months, so from Sept-January we are comitted to extend the Kingdom of God. So continue to pray for us because we believe that its time for the Church to give Birth!

Sunday night (Night service) is an exciting night. I really enjoy the service. The Presence of the Lord is so very strong and many people are slain in the spirit, laughing in the spirit and we experienced the manifestation of the Holy Spirit. In that service, no preaching, no program, all we can do is to worship the Living God and waiting upon Him. Many of us received Vision, Revelation, and Prophecy and we share it to each other. Praise the Lord!

Next month, I and some of Filipino Pastor will go to Scotland. I'm very excited and I want to thanks our friends from UK. Thank you very much because you are a blessing to us specially to the Filipino Congregation. Someday you will reap the HARVEST! Also, I want to extend my thanks to David S. and family for paying my Plane ticket going to UK, thank you very much my friend! I pray that God will bless and prosper you. See you soon...

Night Service

Feeding Program

I always share to our members here at Cornerstone Church Santiago that these Church is a without wall Church, a Church that will reach those who are ready to be harvested. Our cell group is really growing specially in Schools. In one school alone we have 34 students who are active in attending our cell groups and this morning I and Ptr. Jun are praying for this ministry and God shows us how to reach the students. So Ptr. Jun and I will meet our key leaders tonight to plan and prepare, bec. I believe God has a wonderful plan for this. Last overnight prayer meeting God gave me a word about the campus ministry. Wow, I’m really excited about this, so continue to pray for us. I saw the favor of God upon us, one of our cell group at bagong silang is also growing, before our cell leader started a cell group in small room but last week the room is to small for them so they decided to move to a bigger place. And now we have a cell group in community center and many young people are attending in this cell group.
About Youth Ministry, it’s really growing. Before, about 10 to 12 are attending the youth group, but now about 80 to 100 young people are attending our Friday youth service, and thank you elders and deacons of Cornerstone Church Santiago because you really support the Youth Group not only your presence is there but you used your money to extend the Kingdom of God, someday God will reward you.
About feeding program, from June 16 to July 31 we fed around 6,000 kids. Bro. Henry (one of the Elder of the Church) doing well and God is with him. And we want to extend our thanks those who really helping this ministry to reach the poor, especially the UK Team and Cornerstone Church Singapore.
About Hospital Ministry, still doing fine, this morning all the Pastors went to the patients and pray for healing. But I and August went to two rooms and preached the good news, I really enjoy sharing the Word to this people and Praise the Lord they received the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Last week the Singaporean team are here, they are a blessings for us. Maureen is our speaker at Cornestone Santiago especially in youth and Sunday morning service, she really encourage us, especially when she shared about WAITING. It’s true that most of us are impatient, right? That is the reason why, we want fast food, instant noodles, instant healing, and instant partners. But you know there is a blessing in waiting.
Sunday night service is amazing service, we have our own program but Praise the Lord God is in control. The presence of the Lord is very strong, and God gave a Word to Ptr. Mark about “Faith of Children,” and we ask all the kids to come at the front to pray for them and after ward the kids prayed for the adults. When that things happen I remember the book that I read about the French prophet in the year of 1685, ‘ children as young as 3 years old both prophesied and delivered discourses in perfect, fluent French even though this was not their native tongue. On one occasion, a fourteen (14) month old child, who previously had never spoken, suddenly began exhorting “to the works of Repentance” in a childish voice’ PRAISE THE LORD!
About Bible School, I and Pastor Mark teach about Acts of the Holy Spirit and Church History and we really enjoy it. On one occasion, as we teach about the Baptism of the Holy Spirit to the Bible school students, suddenly those who are not baptize in the Holy Spirit begun to speak in tongues and we saw the manifestations of the Holy Spirit. It’s really amazing and all I can say is GLORY TO GOD!

Hello there! It's been long time that i did not post to our blog. I have many news for you, maybe or next blog/article I will tell it, because i'm here at Ramon, Isabela about 20 minutes to travel from Santiago city to here. My sister invited me to her son's birthday. It's a lot of food here...mmmmm.... sarappp (delicious). And this reminded me about the new birth, Jesus said, "Unless a man be born again he cannot see the Kingdom of God" in the original manuscript He said, unless a man BE BORN FROM ABOVE he canot see the Kingdom of God. All of us are created by God but not all of us are CHILDREN OF GOD. If there is a natural birthday there is also a SPIRITUAL BIRTHDAY, a day when we receive Jesus Christ us our Lord and Saviour, a day when we said, 'Lord forgive me, I'm a sinner and I am nothing without You...' Spiritual birthday is a Glorious day. How about you? Are you belong to the Family of God?

God is Omniscient; I would never imagine God would speak and bring revelation using terms in the computer realm. HUB, NETWORK, SERVER and CONNECTION these are the words God used to reveal what He will do to Santiago City.

Hub- central, core, center of activity or device where PC are connected to communicate to each other. Last week on one of the prayer devotion of Pastor Marlou, the Lord speak to him through that word. I know he is not a techie guy and he never encountered this word before but he knows that this word HUB came from God and He is telling something from this word and later Pastor Marlou asked his wife what does HUB means and his wife explained, its like central or center of activity. And the next morning as they watch about a revival on GOD T.V. they heard of the message about HUB and as they prayed the Lord revealed to them that Santiago City would be a spiritual or revival HUB in this region. In which he had share to most of us workers, church members and also from previous Blog. WOW!!!

Network- system of things (mostly Computers) or people (Churches also).
Server- usually the fastest and most robust Computer that has most of the resources that shares to the network. On a separate occasion, one time last week on a youth cell group, God spoke to Liezel and some other youth that what they are doing in the cell group is like their entering on a NETWORK which all the resources they need come only from the SERVER our GOD. Amazing!!!

Connection- linking of things (computers) or people. It is the joining of things, parts or people.
One afternoon on his fasting, God spoke to Pastor Marlou to go at the back of one of the building at Sefton Village where there is a manual pump where God commanded him to start pumping and don’t stop until he receives His word. He started pumping and as he pumps he started to feel and hear the water going up from the ground but it’s quite hard for the water come out and flows out the water but to little and went gone. Being weak from fasting he is wrestling with GOD on what does He wants to tell and somewhat telling God that he is to weak to continue to pump, but the Lord to him to continue until he receives His word. After a while brother Boc (a great testimony on how good is God to Mankind) came and told Pastor that even he will pump the whole day the pump will not work because he had closed the CONNECTION. There is God’s Word, without the connection to God, we are nothing and nothing will flow to us from God. Lord help us open our CONNECTION to you.

And last night as we meet on our regular prayer meeting, as we prayed the Spirit of the Lord moved and all this bits of revelation HUB, NETWORK, SERVER AND CONNECTION was made us to understand what God will do to Santiago.

Call for repentance

One day the Lord spoke to me and my wife that we should pray and fast and seek His face. While we were worshipping the Lord, the Lord said “I have a word”. And I said to the Lord, “Lord speak your word” and the Lord spoke in my heart saying, “I gave my word to your wife, so lay your hand upon her and she will prophesy”. To make story long short I laid my hand to her head and my wife prophesied, saying, “Prepare the Church, Call for repentance”. Oh what a message! It is the confirmation of the message I received from the Lord early in the morning. The Lord told me to read 2 Chronicles 7:13-16, it is a familiar verse to me and still I obeyed God and read the verse because deep in my heart I know God is trying to tell what is in His heart. And in verse 14 the Lord highlight this word “stop their evil ways” I believe in my heart that this is the call of God ‘a call for repentance’ I don’t know what to do. I don’t know how to start it but, we need to obey the Lord. So I sent a text message to all of our church workers and declared ‘prayer and fasting’ as a sign of repentance. And we had an overnight prayer meeting. On the prayer meeting we humbled ourselves before God and asked Him to reveal our sins. And God in His grace revealed to every individual the sins that had been committed and we repented. After each individual asked forgiveness to God, we asked God “So now Lord reveal the sin of the church” Again the Lord spoke to me and to my wife, saying, “Hypocrite”. Yes, that’s true many Christian today are “hypocrites”. Jesus said, “They are like tombs that are painted white. Outside, those tombs look fine, but inside, they are full of the bones of dead people and all kinds of unclean things. It is the same with to us. People look at us and think we are good, but on the inside we are full of hypocrisy and evil’ (Matt.23:27ff, 28). This is the sin of the Church today and we need to REPENT.
Many times we ask God to send revival and claim the prophecy of Prophet Joel 2: 28-32 but, before God send revival and pour out His Spirit among all flesh he said in Joel 2:12,13 ‘…turn ye even to me with all your, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn to the Lord your God: for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.’ My dear brethren (leaders and members) it’s time for us to repent and humble ourselves before God. We should rend our hearts so that God will look upon us in His mercy and He will send revival. Church wake up! The Lord is waiting for us so that He could pour out the new wine of the Holy Spirit. Be prepared!

Spiritual Hunger

When God revealed to us (I and my wife) about the new wineskin and hub we really experienced spiritual hunger. We want more of God, we want something new and different that will turn the world upside down. Everyday I and my wife read Bible and books, pray and fast because we sense there is an urgency to prepare and God is about to do something. We are in the situation that we need to make difference. That’s why we seek God and ask His Leading and Guidance.
Last night I could barely sleep and this morning (4am) God woke me up and I know He want to say something to me. So I read the Bible in the Gospel of Matthew 11, I found out that our Master Jesus’ not only He preached and teach people about the Kingdom but He healed the sick, the blind can see, the crippled can walk, and people with skin diseases are healed, the dead are raised to life, and the Good news is preached to the poor. Yes, that’s it that as we preach and teach people about the Kingdom signs, wonders and miracles will follow. And this is lacking in the Church today there is no signs, wonders and miracles.
Whenever you preached the Word, are you fulfilled though there are no signs, wonders and miracles? But it is very clear the Jesus preached, taught and healed. That even today His power is available, and He is saying to us, ‘whom shall I send and who will go for us?’ My friend, it is the will of God to heal people even in this Generation! Our Master Jesus said to His Disciples, “And those who believe will able to do these things as proof; they will use my name to force out demons. They will speak in new languages. They will pick up snakes and drink poison without being hurt. They will touch the sick, and the sick will be healed.” (Mark 16:17-18). My prayer this morning is ‘Lord, whatever the desire of your Heart is, it will be the desire of my heart. Here I am send me and I will go with you and I am willing to do your will!’
Brethren, its time for us to wake up! Open your eyes! The fields are ripe and ready for harvest. It’s time for us to use our sickles and not to play. Souls are perishing! Satan is very busy in destroying the precious souls. The preachers are playing, the Souls are perishing. The church is very busy in doing programs the people are hurting and helpless! Thousands of souls are going to hell! Oh you church goers what are you doing? Are you happy? Are you fulfilled? Is it enough for you just to attend the church services? I can see the Master He is not pleased of what is happening to this generation.
As I write this article my heart is crying, tears begun to flow in my eyes. I felt the heartbeat of our heavenly Father.
My God, my God have mercy on us! Have mercy to your people! Selah (pause and think about it!)

“I may stop the sky from sending rain. I may command the locust to destroy the land. I may send sickness to people. Then if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, if they will pray and seek me and stop their evil ways I will hear them from heaven. I will forgive their sin, and I will heal their land. Now I will see them, and I will listen to the prayers prayed in this place. I have chosen this temple and made it holy. So I will be worshiped there forever. Yes, I will always watch over it and love it.”

New Wineskin

On May 27, as I was driving home I had something in my heart. It is such a hunger that I even told God, “God I’m tired; I’m tired of ‘programs’ in the Church, I’m tired of doing the same thing everyday. I just can’t go on, I want something new from you.” That night my wife and I had a sharing. My wife told me about her prayer to God asking God for brand new thing to happen. Knowing that God is speaking to us we begun to pray, while we were praying God gave us a Word for us about “New wineskin” but we don’t understand it. So I asked God to reveal what this word means but we’ve got no answer. The next morning, I saw the word “Hub” and I asked my wife what thus this word mean in tagalog and she explain it to me. And still I don’t understand what thus the Lord is telling me. The following day, we watch TV on God channel, we were watching on what’s happening at the revival in Lakeland, Florida, Todd and his friend Ryan begun to share about the “New wineskin and Hub”. While they’re speaking God’s revelation, little by little God reveal to me His plan especially in this Region. God is about to pour out the new wine of the Holy Spirit so we need to prepare the new wineskin because the revival is coming and God is raising up an Apostolic Hub, a Revival Hub in our Region and I saw a vision that the King of kings is entering the city of Santiago I sensed that God is saying that revival is coming in this region, oh what a glorious God we served and we need to prepare the way of the Lord. Hosanna to the Son of David!!! Praise the Lord!!!

Wow it’s so great to be in the presence of the Lord! It is true that in the presence of the Lord there is fullness of joy and a day without His presence is a wasteful day. We really enjoy the Sunday service and the presence of the Lord is there and wow what a great day! Also, we greet the mothers because it’s a Mothers day and we prayed, appreciate and blessed them. Mothers, thank you for your loving and care for us!Anyway, we give you some updates what happened in last few weeks. First, last April 25-26 we have an overnight prayer meeting. We have some sharing, waiting and soaking in the Spirit, and as we pray, the Lord gave us a word and the word was found in Joel 2:12-13 “ Therefore also now, says the Lord, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the Lord your God: for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, abounding in loving kindness, and relenting of evil.” And as we receive that word all of us begun to cry and ask forgiveness, from that day we decided that we will start to have a prayer and fasting. It is good to obey God because He called us not only to serve and worship Him but also to OBEY Him!

Second, we have a DAY OF REFRESHING (May 2). Whereas, I invest my time to the core groups with their family, we have some games, fellowship, swimming and EATING fellowship! And I saw in the face of the core group, the smile and happiness, their love to the Lord and to the people. I really appreciate this people specially their Love to the Lord.“Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.” Galatians 6:9

New Building

Praise the Lord! God is Faithful to all His promises. Yap its true that His promises are YES and AMEN! Now we move again to another building and this is our third time. Yes, it’s tiring but EXCITING. On March 30 we had our first Sunday service in our new place. We had a very busy day in preparing the place. We were so tired, until the evening prior to our 1st service we are still trying to make our air conditioner to work but it did not work despite of our efforts. My wife and I went to bed around 12 midnight and were up by 5:30 am to pray. My wife shared to me that before the service begun her body was sore. While we were just beginning to sing she didn’t have that enthusiasm to join the singing, but she realized that she must focus her eyes unto Jesus. As she focused her eyes to God, she begun to worship God and God just pour His presence to my wife. My wife said that she sense God’s faithfulness and begun to weep. She sense that God is the one Who takes care of the church and whatever happens God will remain faithful and true. I also sense same thing like my wife, I sense God’s faithfulness and I also wept. We are strengthened by what God showed to us. We really can trust Him. HALLELUJAH… I really feel that its time to posses what God has promise. I believe that Santiago City will be saved by the power of the Cross.

Now, we are focusing on our top 3 priority and these are Prayer, Cell group and Communication. Prayer is our #1 priority because we believe that this is the backbone of the Church. Like the early church they are a prayerful church. In every plan and decision to make, we need to pray. I remember Martin Luther he said this word, “I have so much to do today that I shall spend the 3 hours in prayer”. And also Paul Billheimer said, “The effectiveness of the prayer program of a church will be in direct proportion to the depth of the individual prayer life of its members. Without a deep devotional life on the part of the participants, the group cannot muster great prayer power.” Our second priority is cell group which is every member belong to a small groups. And Praise the Lord, Pastor Jun the director of Cell group is doing his best to reach our goal. The third is Communication, we asked the members to give their mobile number to send messages that would encourage them to remain in the Lord, to contact them with the activities in the church. In communication, we included to it the follow up ministry to visit the members and those who came to the church for the first time.
I believe in my heart that the promises you received from God will be fulfilled. God is faithful. He will do what He said He would do. Keep on reminding God about His promises and hold on to that promises.

There are times when we feel that our labors are in vain. These times come when people misunderstood our act of love, opposed our good deeds or ignored it or even rejected it. We even have the pity party, “Poor me, I helped these guys and now they don’t know me” we said to ourselves or we might even said “I cried with her when she cried, laughed with her when she’s happy. I was there beside her when she needed a friend and now this is what she repays me?” These are some of the thousand sentiments we hear from people who thought that their labors are wasted. In fact, I myself had these sentiments until I heard a man of God spoke about being a servant. I was misunderstood trying to help people; my good deeds are forgotten, was even rejected by a person I helped.

I was at a conference and Dr. John Andrews tackled on being a great servant. On one of our sessions he talked about the six (6) roadblocks that hinder a person to serve, from those six hindrances, the Lord caught my attention when Dr. John Andrews said the last hindrance. Imprisonment; because of disputes, pain, discouragement or some fracture of the past or present, we are unable or unwilling to serve. We are imprisoned by events or feelings surrounding those events that get into our way every time we stoop to serve. Voices whisper reminding us of what we did or what others did. It keeps us from getting to the people that need us. The Lord told me that moment that I was unable and unwilling to serve Him by serving others it is because I was imprisoned by the rejection and opposition that resulted pain and discouragement to me. God is so gracious to me, at the end of that session we have our workshop. The speaker made a question for us to tackle. The question is this, “Is Hebrew 6:10 a comfort to a servant?” God in His love opened my eyes. I realized, though people seems to be ungrateful, took for granted all our good deeds, rejects our helping hands or opposes our kindness. But, God will never forget our labor of love and He will surely reward us. On the service at night I went to the altar when Dr. John Andrews had the altar call. As I was standing there I said to myself that I will not cry. And I heard a still small voice said to me “I love you my daughter.” After I heard that word, I cried. It was a common word we already heard a million times that “God loves us.” But that moment it was a fresh revelation to me, knowing that I have a Father who loves me that all my labors of love were not in vain because He noticed even the little thing I have done. He appreciates me and surely will reward me. All my pain and discouragement were gone. Know I serve because I know it pleases my father and it makes Him smile.
Maybe you are in pain and discouraged because people were so ungrateful to you. Instead of appreciating you they criticized you. Remember that we serve because of our Father. All our services are noticed by Him and will not forget them but surely will reward you. People might forget your good deeds but our Father in Heaven will never forget it because He is just and fair.

God is fair; He will not forget the work you did and the love you showed for Him by helping His people. And He will remember that you are still helping them.

Wow here we are again! We have a great day the previous three weeks. First, we went to the “MILLION LEADERS MANDATE” by Dr. John Maxwell. Almost a thousand attended the seminar and it’s really a blessing for us as a leader to attend this seminar because God called us to be a leader for a greater purpose. One day, Heidee Baker received a Word from the Lord for Pst. Mark Ritchie and it’s all about the VINEYARD. We’re so excited about it, and this is the reason why we need to train more LEADERS!

Second, we went to Muntinlupa city because my relatives asked me to share the Word of God to them and it’s amazing because they received the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Third, we visited a guy that is in a hospital and his situation is very critical. Before he died, he received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and I believe he is now in the Presence of our Heavenly Father. And Praise the Lord, Malou (his wife) is now attending a church with her friends.
Next article, we will give you a news about what happened this week, on Dr. John Andrews’s leaders conference and the amazing testimony of a couple (Steven and Shelly Ward) from England.
But today we want you to give a good Illustration about a DEFFECTIVE CHURCH by D.L. Moody, and as you read this story we pray that God will touch your heart and be open of what God is saying to you right now!

A father took his little child out into the field one Sabbath, and he lay down under a beautiful shady tree, it being a hot day. The little child ran about gathering wild flowers and little blades of grass, and coming to his father and saying: ‘Pretty! Pretty!’ At last the father fell asleep and while he was sleeping the child wandered away. When he awoke, his first thought was ‘where is my child?’ He looked all around, but he could not see him. He shouted at the top of his voice, and all he heard was the echo of his own voice. No response! Running to a little hill, he looked around but all he heard is his own voice. Then going to a precipice at some distance, He lookdown, and there upon the rocks and briers, he saw the mangled form of his loved child. He rushed to the spot, and took up the lifeless corpses, and hugged it to his bosom, and accused himself of being the murderer of his own child. While he was sleeping his child had wandered over the precipice.
It is also a picture of the Church of God! How many fathers and mothers, how many Christian men are sleeping now while their children wander over the terrible precipice a thousand times worse than that precipice, right into the bottomless pit of hell? Father, where is your boy tonight?

CORNERSTONE CHURCH VOLUNTEER PROGRAMMERS ATTENDED THE FEBC HANDS ON DIGITAL PROGRAM PRODUCTION TRAINING

             After a progression of seminars and trainings given to the volunteer programmers of Cagayan Valley, the last stage is the hands on Digital Program Production Training and Program Concepts held last January 28 to February 8, 2008 at the FEBC Compound in Valenzuela City. The first batch of volunteers who attended the training on January 28 to February 1, 2008 from Cornerstone Church were Pastor Marlou Javier, Pastor August Manio and Sis. Jane Mangadap. They were joined by other volunteer programmers like Bro. Robert and Sis. Lily Garcia of Cauayan City, Sis. Virgie Dulluog, Pastor Dante and Pastor Lito of Cagayan. The first batch were so excited because of the new experience and challenge they are about to face. Exciting also because for some, it was the first time to use a computer and a mouse. Pastor Dante gave joy to the group as he tried to hold and move the mouse for the very first time. The cursor moved on all directions of the monitor and he even hold the mouse up. We told him to put down the mouse and just place it on the table while controlling the cursor. Thanks We all had the best laugh of our lives when he asked where is the mouse when he is actually holding it. After two days, Pastor Dante, Pastor Lito and Pastor August can now maneuver the mouse very well and already have a know how on using the computer. Thanks to Sis. Jane who taught them the basics of computer encoding. the more to Pastor Em who unwearyingly taught us to produce digital audio programs. We learned a lot about creativity and program concepts through our very good and effective speaker, Peter McIntyre. The final day and evaluation of the programs we produced was the most exciting of all coupled with nervousness and anxiety. The evaluators , Peter, Ate Miriam, Pastor Em and Pastor Caloy, were all superior and first rate in every detail assessment.

             The second batch of volunteer programmers from Cornerstone Church who attended the same training on February 3 to February 8, 2008 were Pastor Danny Mangadap and Pastor James Bastian. They were joined by volunteer programmers from Cagayan. The same with the first batch, the second batch also had funny experiences in trying the “Toy” or the mouse and the computer.

             After the training, the first fear of holding a computer for the very first time or the fear of modern technology faded away . The volunteer programmers were all excited now to produce digital audio programs. The desire to share the Word of God is now in their hearts. Everyone were challenged to do something new, something great and something extraordinary for the Lord this mid year of 2008.

The origions of the world's most loving day

Valentine's Day

Forget the red roses, sentimental cards, and candle-lit dinners
this St. Valentine's Day. Do something really unusual this
year, something that harks back to the original traditions of
this ancient day of love - like sacrificing a goat, for
example. Yes, as with many modern festive days, St. Valentine's
is an old pagan festival which was later adapted by
Christianity. The roots of the Feast Day of St. Valentine lie
in the ancient Roman festival of Lupercalia, believed to have
been held to ensure protection from wolves (lupus in Latin
means wolf).

Every February 15, Ancient Romans would gather in nearby caves
and sacrifice goats or dogs. The bloody knife would then be
smeared on the foreheads of two youths of good breeding and the
blood wiped off with wool soaked in milk. The whole party would
then run through the streets wearing the skins of the
slaughtered beasts and beating people with straps of goatskin.

This was also believed to encourage fertility and infertile
women were supposedly glad to receive the blows.

While Lupercalia seems to have more in common with the riotous
behavior of modern soccer crowds than with St. Valentine's Day,
the romantic and fertility significance of the ancient Roman
festival was gradually incorporated into the Christian Feast
Day of St. Valentine on February 14.

Exactly why is a mystery. None of the limited historical
evidence shows either of the two martyred Saint Valentines as
having any connection with love or romance. One legend,
however, has it that Valentine, a priest and later bishop of
Rome, performed secret weddings when Emperor Claudius the Goth,
believing marriage prevented men from being good soldiers,
banned them.

Valentine was clubbed to death, then beheaded, on February 14
around 270 A.D. during the Christian persecution. In a way, it
could be said he died for love and it may be for this that his
feast day, named in 496 A.D. by Pope Gelasius, has become
associated with romance.

The modern festival of St. Valentine's Day dates from at least
the 14th century. It developed most strongly in England and
France, but throughout all medieval Europe it was believed to
be the day when birds chose their mates.

The first recorded Valentine note was sent by a French knight
captured by the English at the Battle of Agincourt in 1415. On
St. Valentine's Day he sent his wife a rhymed letter from
London, where he was imprisoned. The first recorded Valentine
from a woman was sent in 1447 by a Norfolk lady to her lover
saying: "To my right well beloved Voluntyne."

While drawing a girl's name from a love urn remained the
traditional way of choosing one's Valentine in parts of England
and America up until the 1880s, many other customs evolved
concerning the lovers' day.

Throughout England, one way to chose your Valentine was to kiss
the first person of the opposite sex you encountered in the
morning. Another English custom practiced by young, unmarried
women in the 1700s was to pin five bay leaves to their pillow.
If during the night the girl dreamed of her sweetheart, it was
believed she would be married within the year. She could help
stimulate the desired dream by scooping out the yolk from a
hard-boiled egg, filling it with salt, and swallowing it (shell
and all).

The BIBLE declare that "Be excellent of what is good and be innocent of evil" ( Rom.16:19 ).

It is our joy and pleasure to help each child discover his or her uniqueness and gifting so that they can fulfill their God-given destiny. That is why, we are comitted to shepherd, nurture and equip every child whom the Lord has entrusted to our care.

The Kids Church is very exciting and challenging! We have a lots of activities every Sunday, that will give a greater impact to their lives and to be more closer to the Father. They learn more about God and how to worship Him in spirit and in truth.

We believe that God is bringing us to a place of enlargement and strengthening. We aim to be a spirit-empowered children's ministry where the presence of God is greatly honoured and pursued, a place where His glory dwells.

We pray that this generation of children really feel and experience a life transforming encounter, that they may stand a good fight and recruits to be a mighty warriors in God's army!

I Want you to read this great story and THINK about it;

A man was exploring caves by the seashore. In one of the caves he found a canvas bag with a bunch of hardened clay balls. It was like someone had rolled clay balls and left them out in the sun to bake. They didn't look like much, but they intrigued the man, so he took the bag out of the cave with him. As he strolled along the beach, he would throw the clay balls one at a time out into the ocean as far as he could. He thought little about it, until he dropped one of the clay balls and it cracked open on a rock. Inside was a beautiful, precious stone! Excited, the man started breaking open the remaining clay balls. Each contained a similar treasure. He found thousands of dollars worth of jewels in the 20 or so clay balls he had left. Then it struck him. He had been on the beach a long time. He had thrown maybe 50 or 60 of the clay balls with their hidden treasure into the ocean waves. Instead of thousands of dollars in treasure, he could have taken home tens of thousands, but he had just thrown it away! It's like that with people. We look at someone, maybe even ourselves, and we see the external clay vessel. It doesn't look like much from the outside. It isn't always beautiful or sparkling, so we discount it. We see that person as less important than someone more beautiful or stylish or well known or wealthy. But we have not taken the time to find the treasure hidden inside that person. There is a treasure in each and every one of us. If we take the time to get to know that person, and if we ask God to show us that person the way He sees them, then the clay begins to peel away and the brilliant gem begins to shine forth. May we not come to the end of our lives and find out that we have thrown away a fortune in friendships because the gems were hidden in bits of clay. May we see the people in our world as God sees them. PAUSE AND THINK ABOUT IT!

Here is a testimony of our brother at Cornerstone.

I’m Jimmar Gutierrez, 27 years old, married to a loving wife (also beautiful) and father to a super active son. I’m a Technical Supervisor at a Computer Company here at Santiago City. I’m also a worker here at this church who’s enjoying serving the Lord! This is my testimony on how I met God and His wonderful works in my life.

I met God here at Cornerstone Church Santiago about 10 months ago. December 2005 Christmas time we visited my wife’s family at Novaliches, Quezon City, my mother in law asked us to go to a service at the mall which I was not aware of which made me furious about it, but we are committed and I can’t say no so we go on attending. It was Cornerstone Church Novaliches, some will say its was just a coincidence that we went there and we enjoyed the service specially the music and the atmosphere but I believe God gave us an invitation or a teaser of what we will encounter back here at Santiago City. After Christmas we went back home and back to our old lives. One day sometime in March Pastor Mark Ritchie came to have me configure his iBook (wish I’ll have one) after some clicks and taps on his keyboard I had it ready for internet. While checking pictures and files which not proper to do, I saw some files with “Cornerstone Church” on them, I started to wonder if he know someone from Cornerstone Church Novaliches (Up to this time I have no idea that there is a Cornerstone Church here in Santiago and he is the Senior Pastor. I’ve known him quite long time we called each other “my friend”, we met because of my work I usually fix his computers. He had invited me for many times to attend Sunday Service, he never told the name of the church is Cornerstone, always I answered I’ll try but I didn’t go. I didn’t go because I know it’s a Christian service and I always make fun of those who worship God by singing and dancing, I said to them they are crazy nor drunk that was before I met God and my wife refuse to go.) So when Pastor Mark came to pick his iBook up I asked him, my friend how do you know Cornerstone Church? And he replied, ahhh what!? Cornerstone? And he said with that smile on his face, “It just happened I’m the “Pastor”. I asked where? He replied here, Santiago! Then he told me how came I know Cornerstone and telling that’s where I’m inviting you to go. And he asked me again to go to Sunday Service. I told him we came to know Cornerstone when we visited my wife’s family at Novaliches. I said yes to his invitation and told him to bring my wife and son. So I went home and told my wife there is Cornerstone here and upon hearing this she was excited to go. So we went and from there God ministered to us and never left us. We accept Jesus as our Lord and our Savior and God turned our lives around and have done wonderful things to us. Since then I have not missed any Sunday going to church. We were baptized last May, since then, there are times I’m looking at my life and I’m amazed of what it came to be with Jesus. He helped me to be a better person, delivered me from alcoholism which always causes quarrel between me and my wife, and also helped me rebuke myself against worldly things. Little by little He straightens up things in my life. When I came to know Jesus I said to myself my commitment to God is only Sunday and that is how far I can give to the Lord. What’s amazing is, me limiting my faith just to a certain level but God doesn’t want that and He sent spiritual parents to me to care for my spiritual growth and for me to raise my faith on higher level. They encouraged and involved me on fellowships and activities in the church. Thru them little by little by God’s Grace they pushed me, nudged me and guided me to higher level of faith, now I’m a worker in the church for God’s glory I take care most of the things that involves computers. I have offered my service to the Lord and this little talent of mine amazingly He amplified it and help me accomplished things that I never imagine I would. Thru God’s grace I have maid presentations which never cross my mind I would make. Upon looking on these things I get mesmerized and sometimes all I can say is WOW how can it to be? But God made me realized, He gave these talents to me and He wants me to use it for His Kingdom and surely He will amplified things up and made them great! So I went on serving the Lord, then there came a time I got bored cause I was too much expecting more great things to happen to me and none came up only those little things which not great but keeps me moving forward. So I went seeking the Lords, telling him I’m getting bored and asking Him what he wants me to be. Then again He made me realized that I should stop on too much expecting for great things or event or revelations, He made me realized that on my search for great things I’ve forgotten that the Greatest thing that will happen in my life has already happened, I forgotten that I’ve received Jesus as my Lord and Savior and He died for me because He love me isn’t that the Greatest of all?! Hallelujah!! Thank you Jesus! Meditating on this, I remembered as I do little things for the church like, fixing the computers, helping preparing for activities and attending fellowships I started to talk to brethrens about God’s grace to me and as I go on I found myself often sharing words from the bible which I’m starting to love, I understand the big picture that God’s want me to share His words to many. He had used this little things and activities for me to start talking and eventually start sharing His words which I don’t imagine I will do. For now I may know few verses on the Bible but I will let Him used me for this purpose of spreading his Words. I stand by His words when that time I will stand in front of many people to share His word it is He that will speak because indeed it’s His words not mine for His glory He will help me like most of the times. So I asked everyone to pray for me and everyone to fulfill this calling. Because I believed we are called to share His words. Also encourage you to offer your talents and abilities to the Lord for Him to use on his works and surely He who gave them, will amplify them and make great things from them for His glory. And great things start from humble beginnings. Do not be preoccupied in the search of great things that will happen to you or your lives, you might be take for granted those little things that God is doing to you that if you piece them up together will be a great one. Being save alone by Jesus Christ is the Greatest of all. Hallelujah!

Compassion

Have you ever experienced to be confined in a hospital? or a love one? I know the emotion of seeing a love one on the bed of illness, it is really hard.

This one is a better question, "Have you visited a sick person whom you doesn't know?" When Jesus saw that a crowd of people were following Him, He felt COMPASSION for these people because they were like sheep without a shepherd. We need to feel God's compassion for us to visit and pray for the sick people. Maybe "silver and gold" you have none, but, you have Christ in your heart for you to reach out to those who are dying. Or Christ is in you and you also have "silver and gold." Glorify God for what you have, reach out and help those people that need help. Our Lord said "I was sick and you visited me" and the people said to Him "when did we ever see you sick and visited you?" Jesus replied "whatever you do to the least, you have done it to me."

There are many people who are dying and need your help. They are crying for help. God's hearbeat -- COMPASSION. Ask God to give you a compassion. You can make a difference.

"Pray or Play"

We believe that all christian are called to pray. Pray for what? Or you are thinking do we need to pray? Or some of you say, why do we need to pray if our Heavenly Father knows what we need?
Jesus said "When you pray... He din not say if you pray. So all christian need to pray. Someone said that PRAYER is a key in the hand of faith to unlock God's treasures. Prayer is heart work. Rhetoric cannot pray, with all His words. But faith can pray, when she no words. In prayer it is better to have a heart without words than without a HEART.
Read a story about a mother who always pray for her son. This is the story.

There once a a righteous mother named Monica, and she had a dearly beloved son who spent his youth in vanity and wickedness, and fell from true faith into false doctrine. That the righteous mother prayed for him every day with bitter tears. Years passed, and he left her in Africa, where they lived, and went to Italy. Every hope of his recovery seemed gone, and she told her grief to the bishop. "Fear not, Monica, he said; "the child of so many prayers will not perish." After some time she heard of him at Milan, and she went after him, now an old woman and a widow, and found him still unchanged. Daily was she to be seen in the cathedral of Milan kneeling in prayer for her boy, And giving abundant alms to the poor, that these her gifts might rise up as a memorial before God, and obtain for her what her heart desired.
Finally, after years of long-deferred hope, her prayer was answered. One day, while her son was sitting reading in his house, a friend, an officer in the army, came in and talked to him about the holy lives of some people in Egypt, of how they lived to God alone; how cared not for this world and its fleeting pleasures, but set their affections above on those celestial joys which alone can satisfy. When the young man heard this his heart began to tremble; he contrasted their estimate of life with his own; unable to restrain his tears, he rushed into his garden, flung himself under a tree, and burs ted in convulsive weeping. And when he had somewhat recovered himself,he took up the open book which he last been reading, and his eyes fell on the words, "Not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying: but put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof" (Rom.13:13,14). Then man's heart yearned to tell all to his dear mother who, with perfect patience and trust in God, had continually prayed for her son from childhood, hoping against hope. Monica did not get to see the fullness of God's long-deffered answer to her prayer here on earth, for she died soon after her son's conversion. Her son's name was AUGUSTINE, and this child of her prayers, became one the greatest saints, bishops, and writers, the world has ever produced.

Year 2007 was prophesied a year of breakthrough for Cornerstone Church. And yes, God fulfilled His promise. From the beginning until the end of 2007 we experienced breakthrough in all aspect.

Today, we want to tell you about the amazing things God has done on the youth group of our church they went to a pre-camp on December 26-28, 2007, God touched their lives.

As a result of this wonderful thing they experienced. Two of our young people testified that God changed their lives and are so in love with God and all of our youth were refreshed. We believed on their testimony because we saw the glory of God on their faces.
